Lip Care For Winter

When winter comes up, the cold sets in and our lips dry out and crack. But don’t panic, we are going to reveal some of the best products and some tips for keeping lips soft and comfortable. In addition, it is the assurance of a nice rendering and a better hold for your lipstick.

The essentials for having beautiful lips in winter

Hydration is essential to our skin and our lips and providing hydration requires special attention. Very thin and producing no sebum, the lips have no protection against external aggressions. All-day long, they are used by our saliva, pollution, weather conditions, the food and drinks we consume. So, like the rest of our body, our lips must be pampered and it is important to set up an appropriate care ritual.

Exfoliate your lips, A step that will bring a lot of change

To exfoliate your lips, you can mix a little essential oil with sugar. The first nourishes the lips and the second gently exfoliates. you can perform, then, a small circular massage with the fingertips. We advise you to perform this scrub once every 15 days to remove all dead skin and find beautiful and soft lips. But be careful, do not perform this scrub on chapped lips. In this case, they will have to be repaired and nourished with a super mask (yes, it exists for the lips) and a good dose of lip balm.

Use a lip balm every day

For optimal hydration, you should apply your lip balm daily. Vitamin E and honey lip balm made with beeswax, shea butter and organic coconut oil. It moisturizes, nourishes, relieves and repairs our weakened lips. Our tip for not forgetting it? Leave it on my bedside table, and apply a light layer in the morning and a more generous one at night before you go to bed. Its melting texture is pure happiness!

Do not abuse matte lipstick!

Matte effect lipstick is the makeup trend of the moment, but we all know that this texture ends up drying out and making our lips feel tight. Our little advice? You should only use matte lipstick at the weekend, and during the week you should apply Vitamin E honey lip balm. Its half-oil, half-cream formula moisturizes and softens the lips thanks to organic avocado oil, fruit extract and beeswax. You will see results in shiny, coloured and comfortable lips!

Psst: Biting your lips or licking your tongue to moisten them is a real crime for very thin skin. At the time it provides relief but the saliva contains small enzymes and repeatedly, it ends up drying them out… If our lips feel tight during the day, it is best to apply a moisturizing balm.
